Can't Find it on the Shelves?
If the book or journal you need is not checked out but is not on the shelf, stop by the Circulation desk for assistance. We will place a search on the item and notify you when it is located. If we do not own the materials you need, ask about our Interlibrary Loan service at the Reference desk.
Returning Library Materials
- Books may be returned to any of the WVU Libraries.
- Journals must be returned to the owning library.
Interlibrary Loan Services
- Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services are extended to all WVU students, faculty, and staff. ILL can borrow materials not owned by the WVU Libraries for you.
- You may place your ILL request online at http://illiad.lib.wvu.edu/. You will need to register with ILLiad before ordering.
- ILLiad requests are automatically sent to ILL and are usually processed within 24 hours. Please include clear identifying information about the items you need when you send your request. For more information or to register, please visit the ILLiad web page.
