Media Services
The Media Services web pages provide instructions for searching for movies the Library owns. It also has lists of DVDs, videos, new media, and movies by genre. There are also links to movie databases you can use to identify movies we don't own but that you can request through Interlibrary Loan.
MountainLynx Catalog
- One easy way to search for movies in the MountainLynx Library Catalog is to select keyword searching and enter your keyword terms and the words video recording.
- Another easy way to search for movies is to go to the MountainLynx Catalog and select the “Quick Limit” drop down menu “Downtown Library, Media Services.” This will limit your search to only materials in Media Services.
- You can then do a “Keyword” or “Advanced Search” to find materials.
- Subject searches will not work with the “Quick Limit” settings.
