Please Keep in Mind

  • The Term Paper Clinic does not offer proofreading or help with writing difficulties.

If a student has difficulties with writing, s/he should make an appointment with a tutor at the Center for Writing Excellence located in the Department of English; call 293 – 3107 ext. 33457 or visit the Writing Center web site for more information.
  • Help with writing theses or dissertations is beyond the scope of the Clinic.
  • For assistance by email, use the Ask-a-Librarian service.
  • Instructors cannot bring their classes to the Clinic. The Clinic is a needs-based tutoring service offering individual assistance.

However, if you’d like for your class to get an introduction to a Library’s resources, you can schedule a library instruction session with a Reference Librarian. S/he will meet with your class in an electronic classroom and show them how to use the Libraries’ resources effectively. Call the appropriate Reference Desk phone number listed at the top left side of this page to schedule an appointment.
